When
I wrote "Ayn Rand: The Russian Radical", I knew that it would be
part of a trilogy that aimed to reclaim the use of a dialectical method in
defense of a thoroughly non-Marxist libertarian social theory. Ayn Rand
exhibits a dialectical sensibility in her own defense of "capitalism:
the unknown ideal." The first book in this trilogy is my "Marx,
Hayek, And Utopia". My forthcoming "Total Freedom" will
